I am amazed by the way it has improved the texture of my skin.  I have tried many different brands and types of tallow creams and balms, and honestly like them all.  A friend warned me that I should be more careful and research the companies because they can vary greatly in quality and fillers. The Dakota Prairie is by far the best brand and most transparent as far as purity and quality of ingredients.  The cleanser melts away makeup and impurities without stripping the natural oils and the exfoiliator gently removes dead skin, leaving my skin soft and smooth.  But my favorite is the salve, it feels so good on my skin and leaves it hydrated but not oily.   I can’t say enough good things about this set. Very nice presentation. The quality is there. Looks and feels luxurious, but that could just be my brain telling me that since the price tag is insane. Do I think it is worth it? No. If you can afford it, then I say go for it. The cleanser is great and doesn't seem to strip out all the oil from my face. I didn't have that tight feeling. My skin feels hydrated, smoother, and softer. This would make a great gift for someone who appreciates this kind of stuff. I also did not have any irritation from any of these products.

I’ve been using this skincare trio for just over a week, and I’m thoroughly impressed. My skin hasn’t felt this soft since my youth. When I used the tallow cleanser and balm initially, I thought no way, this is way too greasy, but after setting, my skin felt like silk. The tallow honey scrub does an amazing job exfoliating and getting rid of flaky skin. I will say it is a little abrasive if you vigorously scrub it on your. It will leave some redness behind, but it will leave behind incredibly soft skin. The skin trip is very steep, but perfectly crafted. The price tag may reflect the process of creating this amazing skincare kit.

This set would make a great gift. Packaging is very high end. The products feel great going on with a light pleasant scent. As much as I love this set, it is super expensive for what you get.

I didn’t want to like it because of the price. But after using it everyday for a week I can honestly say that a little goes a very long way and I feel that it will last a long time. So the price is no longer a factor in my rating.I am post menopause and my skin is extremely dry now. I’ve been searching for a product that will hydrate and last all day. I believe this product is the end of my search. You notice the difference instantly and my skin feels soft literally until the next time I use it 24 hours later. It’s pretty amazing actually how nice it feels.It’s definitely heavier than your typical face cream but not oily or uncomfortable. I’ve had no noticeable reactions or problems and it’s basically unscented. I will still need sunscreen when I go in the sun, but I hate to cover this lovely product.Overall I would definitely purchase again.

Each jar is carefully situated in a nest of wooden strands. The salve is wonderfully hydrating to the skin. It does have a gamey scent that overrides the sandalwood though, but if you're used to using tallow, this may not come as a surprise. The cleanser is effective and does not dry out my skin. The exfoliant is densely packed and leaves my face feeling clean and smooth. As a person very concerned about the plastic crisis, I appreciate the eco friendly delivery system used here from the cardboard tube, glass jars with aluminum lids, and wooden packing strands. This is an amazing gift set that is a real treat for anyone that loves beef tallow skincare.
